Studio Policies

Katie’s Dance Academy, LLC provides professional and challenging classes for students of all levels, but more importantly we offer these classes in a positive, nurturing, and encouraging environment. There are so many challenges that students face today, and we know how important it is to allow them to grow in a loving and accepting space. Our classes provide opportunities for students to build confidence, strengthen their skills, and to reach their individual dance and performance goals. For this reason, we have a Zero Tolerance for bullying. This includes disrespectful comments made inside or outside class and via social media.

Society provides an abundance of criticism, and our trained instructors will provide constructive feedback to help each dancer advance to his or her potential, but classmates are expected to respect one another in all circumstances. A student struggling with maintaining a respectful and supportive relationship may reach out to their instructor for mentoring and support in this area. Violations of our Anti-Bullying policy will lead to class suspension or possible dismissal.
